Underwater Babes! Photography specializes in creating unique underwater imagery. Portraits of children swimming in an underwater world are captured by a qualified swim teacher and professional photographer with the help of an experienced and qualified baby handler. To support swimming and the importance of learning to swim, all children who book into an Underwater Babes! Photography session MUST have participated in swimming lessons and be confident swimming underwater. An Underwater Babes! Photography session aims to provide each swimmer with quality underwater portraits to treasure for a lifetime. Enlargements & copies are available to purchase two weeks after the photo session. The sessions are designed to be fun, relaxed and ejoyable for the children. There are three types of underwater photo sessions available.
These photo session are for children who need assistance swimming underwater. A parent needs to be in the water during the photo session. An experienced swimming teacher will submerge children in turn. Children MUST be confident submerging a minimum of 6 - 8 times underwater and able to do a free swim (letting go of the child briefly underwater). A photo session last half an hour with a maximum of three children participating. Parents are welcome to have their photo taken with their child.
These photo sessions are for children who are confident swimming underwater on their own. A parent is NOT required in the water during the photo session. To participate in these sessions children must be able to put their head under the water without assistance. A photo session lasts half an hour for one family (maximum of 3 children). One hour is required for 4 or more.
These photo sessions are for families who would like individual photos of their children and photographs together as a family. A photo session lasts 1 hour for one family. Maximum of five family members.
